Co D 1st and 3rd platoon at grid BS674380 found a  NVA base camp consisting of 30 bunkers 4'x8' and 30 fighting positions 3'x6'x4'...many mackerel cans...5 well used trails leading into camp:camp would accommodate approximately 30 persons and appears to have been used 3 weeks ago.

Hut size 4'x6' surrounding area farmed, 1 person had unknown type weapon.

From Bde the individual's of Co C wounded by a booby trap were not wearing flak jackets, they were wearing steel pots and were 15meters apart when booby trap was detonated by pressure....it was buried and the crater was 12"in diameter and 4' deep.
