Delta Company at grid location BS634403, observed 10 water buffalo and 3 VC/NVA with green uniforms and approx 500 meters from their position. Sending out patrol to grid location BS625410 to recon the area.                              1245                                                                                            Delta Company killed 12 water buffalo, 3 suspected VC evaded down the trail and into the wood line.                            1300                                                                                            Delta Company's 3rd platoon killed 1 VC KIA that was moving down stream. VC was wearing a mixed uniform and negative weapon.                                                                       1352                                                                                            Delta Company at grid location BS630403 killed 8 water buffalo w/small arms fire.

Late Entry; At 1420 hrs on LZ San Juan Hill helicopter pad, a truck was blown off the pad by a CH-47. The truck was parked near the pad, when the wind from the CH-47 caused it to roll off the pad and thru the first strand of perimeter wire. Truck extensively damaged.

SRRP 2 report; At 291730 Nov in the vicinity of coordinates of grid BS648392, found fresh trails, 1 bandage, 1 pair of gloves (not US); then heard movement to their rear, SRRP's  concealed themselves. Suspect enemy movement then stopped at dusk. SRRP 2 moved to NDP: At 2000 hrs. it smelled like marijuana in the air. At 2100 hrs. SRRP heard movement at 360 degrees of their position; sounded like person crawling, breaking bushes. Shortly after NVA/VC beat on tin cans 360 degrees around NDP. NVA/VC tried to make SRRP expose their position. SRRP negative engagement. At this time NVA/VC depart. At 0200 hrs. SRRP heard radio transmission. At 0300 hrs. NVA/VC brought dogs into the vicinity of NDP, unable to find SRRP. Enemy withdrew again, and SRRP found tracks. Exact location of tracks grid BS649395.

CS was dropped on enemy at grid location BS607344. 10 E-158 cannisters of CS were dropped on the 2nd NVA IND Sapper Battalion. Also Arty engaged the same target w/ 18 HE rounds.Results ; unknown ...Completed at 1150 hrs.
